F1, Franco Colapinto: so much talent but without a single car

Great with Williams but it may not be enough

The revelation of the last F1 GPs è definitely Colapinto. Chosen by Williams to replace the American Sergeant, the Argentine is showing he has what it takes to race in the premier class. It only took him three GPs to show his enormous qualities, so much so that he even received compliments from Hamilton.

Colapinto has six more GPs to continue to show all his talent and hope that some F1 team will bet on him. The problem è that there's no room. As is well known, Williams has already chosen Albon’s partner for next season, namely Sainz, now on his last dance with Ferrari.

This means that Colapinto must hope for a call from some other stable. But who? At the moment, the only seat still vacant as far as the 2025 season grid is concerned è that of Sauber. Only Hulkenberg è has been confirmed, so the second driver is still missing.

There is much talk about the possible landing of Bottas in Sauber, although there is nothing official yet. Vowles, Williams team manager, broke a lance in favor of Colapinto: "He has deserved the world to deserve a place in F1". Whether or not the young Argentine’s dream will become reality remains to be seen. Meanwhile, he has six GPs to make more monster performances and increase his points turnover (four at the moment).
