On his Instagram account, Rose posted a photo in which he appears in front of a chessboard holding a newspaper, on which è he wrote a message intended for basketball. "Thank you, my first love, you believed in me through thick and thin, when everything seemed uncertain. You made every morning and night spent together worth every drop of sweat. A playmaker, Rose has seen his career interrupted by several injuries, particularly to his knees. In 2012, "D-Rose" who was playing for the Bulls at the time, ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee when his team had a serious chance of winning the NBA title.
