Sinner beats Jarry

There was great expectation for Jannik Sinner’s debut in Beijing: the racquet star was on his return after triumphing at the U.S. Open and returning to Italy, also to participate in some social events.

On the’other side of the net was Chilean Nicolas Jarry, who immediately played a nice trick on the world number 1: in the seventh game he snatched his serve and, losing only four points with the first, brought home the first set with a score of 6-4 in 39 minutes.

A’shame hardly bearable by the good Jannik, who in the second fraction è started full tilt: the break in the second game made the difference and so’Sinner brought home the set with a comfortable 6-3.

In the third set Sinner immediately made the difference with a break: the rival’s generous attempts to come back were useless. The set è closed on 6-1 for Jannik.
