After redemption in Serie A, Vlahovic wants to confirm in Champions League
First goal in Champions League on debut after 33 seconds
On the field of Genoa, Vlahovic silenced all critics. The Serbian scored a brace, reminding everyone that he è can score goals and of a certain stature as well (as on the occasion of the second goal rifled at the Grifone). The Juventus striker è now stands at four goals in Serie A.
The next goal è unlocking himself in the Champions League. To date, in eight total appearances (all in a Juventus shirt), Vlahovic has scored on only two occasions. The first goal, on his absolute debut against Villarreal in the 2021/22 season (the Serbian è arrived in Turin, Juventus side, in January 2022), è came after just 33 seconds.
In the 2022/23 edition of Europe's top event, he scored his second goal. Now, after a year spent watching others for the notorious off-field affairs in which è the Old Lady stumbled, he wants to conquer, to the sound of goals, the Europe that counts as well.
In the first day of the new Champions League, Vlahovic è remained dry against Feyenoord. He aims to unlock himself in the challenge on the field of the hostile Leipzig (match scheduled for Wednesday at 9 p.m.). So much desire to prove that he is capable of making a difference even in the top international club tournament.
