In the first midweek round of the A2 basketball series, the big match between Valtur Brindisi and Acqua San Bernardo Cantù is staged. Two-way ball at 8:45 p.m. at Pala FitLine in Desio. It is a challenge of great charm and tradition: twenty-two previous played in Serie A, two in the 1981/82 season while all the others after 2010/11. Brindisi è ahead by two wins in the overall count and leads by twelve to ten, in the challenges played in Cantù there have been eight victories for the hosts against four for the biancoazzurri.

Piero Bucchi, coach of Valtur Brindisi, presented the challenge with the Lombards in a press conference: “We hope to recover a few players so as to lengthen the rotations and have the possibility of arriving in the final game more fresh and with greater energy than in the debut game with Avellino".

"We are aware of the difficulty of a match that pits us against one of the major accreditations for direct promotion, even more so in an away match on a hostile field – added the coach of the Apulians -. We want to be more competitive and we will go to play our chances with renewed confidence after these useful days to recharge our energies".

" As we experienced on our skin on Sunday, in this A2 Series championship will all be very difficult and balanced matches – said Giovanni Vildera -. We have to understand what è happened, despite the absences it was a game to take home but we è missed something in the final. Now our head è focused in Cantù, in a very hot field and with a strong team, aware that we have to play a high level".
