There’è the official date: Friday, June 6, 2025. It will be the day of Golden Gala Pietro Mennea – Presented by IP at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, edition number 45. Italy s main meeting, which as usual awaits many of the world’s athletics stars, will return as the first European seasonal stage of the Wanda Diamond League, the fifth in total. È the calendar of the top international circuit, as well as the Diamond Disciplines for each event, was made official this morning. In Rome, the program will feature fourteen specialties, including seven for men and seven for women: 100, 400, 1500, 110 hurdles, high, long and weight for men; 200, 1500, 5000, 400 hurdles, pole, triple and discus for women. All will put points up for grabs to qualify for the finals in Zurich, scheduled for Aug. 27 and 28, where the 32 Diamond League champions will be decreed and when it will be only a couple of weeks before the start of the World Championships in Tokyo (Sept. 13-21). Also in 2025 the circuit will touchà fifteen citiesà and four continents: the start again in China, on April 26 in Xiamen.
