Great emotions in Beijing in the first set of the final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, won in a comeback by the world number one, thanks also to two decisive errors by the Spaniard in the tie-break.

Alcaraz è got off to a better start, breaking the South Tyrolean and flying out to a promising 4-1 lead. Sinner però did not è stop and fighting tooth and nail he snatched the service from his opponent, regaining the tie.
