A highly anticipated event

The Palazzetto dello Sport “Alfredo Romboli” in Colleferro (Rome) will be the scene of one of the most eagerly awaited events for table soccer fans: the first round of the 2024/2025 Italian Team Championships. This event represents the beating heart of national miniature soccer, bringing together the best Italian teams in an exciting challenge involving world-class players.

Forty-eight clubs from all over Italy, from Aosta to Syracuse, will take the field to vie for the title and play the Serie A, Serie B and Serie C championships. Some 300 players will arrive in the town just outside Rome, including some of the world’s best athletes in the discipline. Prominent among them are the Individual World Champion, Greece’s Dimitrios Dimopoulos, and Spain’s Carlos Flores, European Individual Open Champion 2023.

The tournament è organized by the Federazione Italiana Sportiva Calcio da Tavolo (FISCT), in collaboration with the National Subbuteo Sector of OPES (Organizzazione per l’Educazione allo Sport, a sports promotion organization recognized by CONI), and under the patronage of the Municipality of Colleferro. It will be a weekend of spectacular challenges, with Colleferro once again at the center of the national sports scene.

The Italian Table Football Championships have a long tradition, having been organized for the first time in the 1984/85 season. In the last edition, the Scudetto è was won by the Fiamme Azzurre Roma, who won for the fifth consecutive time, bringing their total to 6 titles in the last 7 years. With this victory, they have thus joined at the top of the list of the most titled teams in Italy, ACS Perugia and F.lli Bari Reggio Emilia, all with 6, while Eagles Napoli and Stella Artois Milano follow closely behind, with 5 Scudetti each.

The return round, which will determine the winners of the title, as well as promotions and relegations in the various categories, will be held on the weekend of April 12 and 13, 2025.
