Juric’s words

Ivan Juric seeks redemption with Alessandro Nesta’s Monza after the loss to Elfsborg in Europe: “Winning tomorrow would be like winning a small final. It would be the third win in a row in the league that would bring us closer to the top of the standings. I would be very satisfied”.

“I insist, we played a great game as intensity’ and pressing. Even in the’last half hour with Venezia è it was like that. From that point of view I am very satisfied. This è a process in which we improve, we have to improve other things and not the one related to the’intensityà".

"We had 5/6 sharp chances against Elfsborg. When you get close to the goal you need quality and work on posture and positioning, as happened in the Pellegrini post. We have to improve on that. Guys arrive in that area and then you need great quality and conception of spaces. The room for improvement I am talking about relates to that and concerns not only the forwards”.

“We have scored 6 points in the last 2 and we are adjusting. We have a great opportunity to close the cycle well in Monza, which impressed me against Inter. It collected less than Nesta’s team deserved. To compete on all fronts my feeling è that we have to use as many players as possible and right now on the flanks we are missing Saelemaekers and Zalewski, we are a little bit in deficit. We will see in the future".
