Recovery time to be determined for Manuel Lazzari
Forced out at 38' of Lazio-Empoli last Sunday, Manuel Lazzari è underwent medical examinations that found a muscle injury: the biancoceleste lateral will therefore be forced to a stop and constant evaluation by the Lazio staff, which will determine with more precision in the coming days the recovery time.
"The medical staff of S.S. Lazio announces that the footballer Manuel Lazzari è underwent today clinical and instrumental examinations at the Villa Mafalda Clinic – we read on the official channels of the club -. The investigations showed a medium-degree muscle injury to the rectus femoris of the left thigh reported during the’last match with Empoli".
"The player has already started specific treatment of the case and will undergo daily clinical monitoring. Further instrumental examinations will be repeated in the coming days to quantify the recovery time" then confirms the clubà biancoceleste, which will therefore have to do without an important player for the rotations of coach Marco Baroni.
Lazzari had taken the field so far in all but one of the matches played by Lazio, the Europa League match against Dinamo Kiev. In his place, Adam Marusic, who already took his place against Empoli after the former Spal player left due to injury, is very likely to be promoted to a starter.
