Not good news is coming from the infirmary for Thiago Motta. The Juventus coach, in fact, will have to do without Teun Koopmeiners for several weeks, whose instrumental examinations showed a decomposed fracture of the second right anterior rib.
"Teun Koopmeiners, following the persistence of the painful symptomatology accused at the end of the first half of the match against Cagliari, è was subjected this morning, October 10, 2024, to diagnostic examinations at the J medical which showed the presence of slightly decomposed fracture of the second right anterior rib. The player will undergo appropriate therapy and recovery will be evaluated based on symptomatology" this is the medical report issued by the Juventus club.
Recovery time would still be uncertain. The former Atalanta man, however, is expected to most likely miss the league match with Lazio and the Champions League engagement with Stuttgart. The hope of Juventus and Thiago Motta would be to recover the Dutch midfielder 100 percent for the big match against Inter, scheduled for Oct. 27 at San Siro.
Ahead of the challenge with the biancocelesti, in addition, the former Bologna coach will have to deal with a real emergency in attack, since besides Koopmeiners also Conceicao and Nico Gonzalez will be unavailable.
