Juventus, Dusan Vlahovic starts reckoning: air of renewal
The Serb’s contract expires in June 2026
Seven goals in nine games. In terms of numbers, Vlahovic is doing what he's always been asked to do: score goals. Thiago Motta's arrival seems to have given him much more certainty. He feels good and, above all, he feels good in Turin, Juventus side. Hence the concrete possibility that he can continue to play with the Juventus jersey for a long time to come.
Vlahovic's current contract with the Bianconeri club will expire in June 2026. As known, his salary è quite challenging for the Old Lady’s coffers. The Serbian striker receives eight million euros, net, per season, which soars with bonuses. This year he will reach 10.5 while, next year, 12 million, net, total.
Giuntoli is reportedly working to find a solution that would allow Juventus to keep Vlahovic but without selling out. The idea is to extend the current contract by one or two years, so as to spread the salary over several seasons. That way, the weight of the Serbian’s hire would be less significant at the level of corporate accounts.
There is talk of a meeting soon, so that we can see if there are the conditions to find a new agreement. Juventus seems to be in a hurry, so much so that the will would be to reach the classic white smoke before the end of the year. Vlahovic feels at home in Turin. Now he will have to do the math to figure out whether staying bianconero è the best solution for his career.
