Among the themes proposed by the third day of Superleague is Itas Trentino's trip to the Allianz Cloud parquet for a challenge to Powervolley Milano coached by Roberto Piazza. In the first two days of the championship, Trentino scored two three-point wins in the standings, defeating Cisterna away pr 3-1 and Taranto at home 3-0. In contrast, Allianz Milano debuted with a loss against Taranto on the very first day, 3-0, only to make up for it in the next round by overcoming Lube Civitanova by the same score.
The 2024/2025 edition of the Superleague sees twelve clubs in the starting lineup, just as it has since the 2022/2023 season. Holders of the Tricolor è Sir Safety Perugia, which defeated Volley Milano (the other club from the Lombard capital, part of the Vero Volley consortium) by three games to one in the best-of-five final.
