Binaghi’s words

FITP President Angelo Binaghi, speaking at the microphones of Radio Rai GR Parlamento, took stock of the situation on the case related to Jannik Sinner: "We have great confidence in the TAS, not even WADA thinks it has to retrain what è happened, its appeal è on the correct application of the rules currently in place".

"For Jannik to keep everything under wraps and handle the media avalanche è was a’feat, now in my opinion the most acute stages of the storm have passed. The judgment will probably come in early 2025", he added.

Chapter tennis played: "Sinner has won two Slams in one year, he is fifteen years younger than Djokovic, with two a year he would reach 30. But it doesn’t matter how many he will reach; the real question è how much we will be able to keep him in perfect shape. If there’è health, Jannik è a phenomenon as a boy and athlete, keep learning. Whether it is ten, twenty or thirty Slams changes little: for the first time in history Italian tennis è the absolute protagonist of the world scene“.

Closing remark on the Finals: "I am convinced that we can hold them in Italy until 2030, it would be a great thing for Italian tennis and for the whole country that the number 1 in the world can play the year-end tournament at home".
