Brindisi, the return of Mark Ogden and Giovanni Vildera is an unknown.
Two grits for coach Piero Bucchi
Valtur Brindisi will have to do without Mark Ogden and Giovanni Vildera in the upcoming games, and it is not possible to estimate a date for their return as of now. That's according to a statement issued by the Biancoazzurro club, following the instrumental examinations the two basketball players underwent after the game they won against Forlì.
"Following the injuries that occurred to Mark Ogden and Giovanni Vildera during the last championship game on Sunday, Oct. 13, between Valtur Brindisi and Unieuro Forl&#igrave;, the players underwent instrumental analysis that showed for Ogden a fracture of the second metatarsal of his left foot and for Vildera an injury of the biceps femoris of the right thigh" reads the note.
"The conditions of the players, who have already begun the rehabilitation process, will be monitored in the coming weeks by the entire White and Blue medical staff in order to determine the recovery time" concludes the club, which is entered this year in the A2 Series championship.
The start of the season was not the easiest for the Piero Bucchi-coached team, which started with three consecutive losses against Avellino (72-77), Cividale (70-79) and Cantù (57-75). Last Sunday, the first success of the season, against Forlì: a convincing 82-63, which però left as an aftermath the injuries of Ogden and Vildera.
