MotoGp, Ducati: Pecco Bagnaia out of teeth on world sprint
Pecco Bagnaia ready for the last appointments of 2024
On the eve of the MotoGP trip to Australia’s Phillip Island circuit, Pecco Bagnaia renews his challenge to Jorge Martin and guarantees that he is ready to give it his all to win what would be a memorable MotoGP trio of titles. At the moment, with four race weekends to complete, the Spaniard è ahead by just 10 points.
"I’m happy to be back on track in Australia,” said the reigning world champion.
This round opens a triptych of races that precedes the grand finale in Valencia, so it will be very important. There are very few Grands Prix left now and it will be really essential to always get the maximum and not make mistakes".
"In the last weekend in Motegi we worked well – added Pecco, first in both the Sprint and the Sunday race -, but è also a track that suits my riding style very well. Phillip Island è a fast track where I have always been quite competitive, but è also a bit’ particular for the grip of the’asphalt and the fluctuating weather conditions, which always play a key role".
"In any case, we are ready and we will work hard to be fast right away" concluded the Piedmontese rider, who in addition to the 2022 and 2023 MotoGp titles also boasts the 2018 Moto2 World Championship, which he won by beating Miguel Oliveira by just 9 points and Brad Binder by 15 points.
