The National Amateur League at FAO for the World Food Forum
The Amateur League è spoke at the FAO for the World Food Forum during the week dedicated to’food. The’initiative aims to raise awareness of the benefits of sustainable food practices through the presentation of global and local experiences that promote sustainability and a more’
inclusive and equitable.
The Amateur League participated with Luca De Simoni, coordinator of the’Social Responsibility Area, who illustrated the projects promoted by the League itself, with reference to issues such as the relationship between food, well-being and youth.
“The combination of sports and nutrition è synonymous with psychophysical well-being,” said Luca De Simoni, “as well as one of the main missions of the LND and the Social Responsibility Area. È it was a pleasure to be able to share the projects and initiatives carried out by LND at the FAO in front of an international audience”.
During the proceedings, Paolo Cardinali, President ESN Università degli Studi di Roma3, said: “Sustainabilityà agribusiness, nutrition education and sport are the three pillars on which to train every young person. Today we have shown that these issues are considered important and shared by a great many students from different countries in Europe and around the world. We must be active advocates for the protection of youthù and our planet”.
