Monza, Alessandro Nesta says he is used to being under pressure
Thusì Alessandro Nesta, coach of Monza, in the press conference on the eve of the away match in Verona: "Under pressure we have been there since day one. Every matchè soè, but we do this work becauseé we know that under pressure we can be: it must give us an extra push; we know that Mondayì will be difficult”.
Monza è still in last place in the standings, together with Venezia, and è just back from the draw with Roma, but still lacks the first victory in the league. "Everything è depended on us. We could and can do better. Paolo Zanetti’s Verona forces you to play at an important intensity, which you have to keep. They have their faults, we have to exploit them, containing their merits. Everything starts with us, we have a chance to play with everyone: the ranking è there, in Verona è a direct clash".
On the injuries that have marked Monza's start to the season, Nesta explained: "Every team has important players. If at Inter you take away Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram or Hakan Çalhanoğlu è a problem. We are Monza and we have our own problems. This situation doesn’t help our week-I’m not complaining about the eleven, but we’ve had training sessions with eight springs. Ours are strong, but then you go and play against players like Cristante, è different".
Ahead of Verona recovered Roberto Gagliardini, Samuele Vignato and Stefano Turati. Still out are Samuele Birindelli and Patrick Ciurria. The extra man for this Monza may be Daniel Maldini, back from his experience with the national team: "I found a happy Maldini. I told him that to say he played in the national team he must have gone through at least 15 games. He has to gain awareness to raise his level. Now he has to fly, hopefully he will fly", concluded Nesta.
