Riyad, Jannik Sinner loses first set in tie-break to Carlos Alcaraz

Great show in Riyad in the first set of the Six Kings Slam final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. The Spanish tennis player, in fact, è won the first partial on tie-break, after a battle that lasted over an hour of play.
The Italian got off to a rocket start immediately, finding the break in the third game and flying on a promising 4-1 lead. However, the Murcian doesn't give up and in the seventh game he recovers the disadvantage and brings the match back to even. The balance held until the tie-break, where è Alcaraz raised the level and immediately took a 5-2 lead. Sinner, for his part, reacted and made a comeback, but in the crucial stages of the set he failed to be incisive enough and the Spaniard took advantage to win the partial 7-5, after 66 minutes of play.
The Arab tournament has a staggering prize pool to put the ATP to shame. For participation alone, each tennis player receives a fee of $1.5 million. The winner, however, takes home as much as $6 million. A monster figure when you consider that, winning Wimbledon, you receive a check for $3.6 million.
