The Grand Finale of an extraordinary tennis season is about to kick off, and it will still provide plenty of entertainment and fun on Sky’s House of Sports. After 10 months of exciting challenges, coming up are more than 600 hours of live dates to be experienced on Sky and streamed on NOW, with as many as 10 tournaments in 60 days. Among them, four major events that will see a lot of Italy on the court: starting already on Monday, October 28, with the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000 exclusively on Sky, staged until November 3, and then returning to Turin from November 10 to 17 for the Nitto ATP Finals, where Jannik Sinner will try to legitimize the role of world number one. Also not to be missed is the Riyadh leg of the WTA Finals, staged Nov. 2-9: Jasmine Paolini takes the court to play for the singles tournament title and, along with Sara Errani, also in doubles, to try to repeat her Olympic triumph in Paris. And again, the appointment in Malaga with the Davis Cup Finals, from November 19 to 24, where Volandri’s Italy will chase an encore.

Not forgetting all the other appointments with great tennis on Sky between now and the end of the year: from November 3, space for two indoor ATP 250 tournaments, in Metz and Belgrade, while the Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF will close the season in Jeddah from December 18 to 22. Equally exciting are the upcoming dates with WTA tournaments, starting on Monday, Oct. 28 with the 250s in Hong Kong, Jiangxi and Merida.

All of this will enjoy, as always, attentive, comprehensive and top-of-the-line reporting: the Sky Sport team will be virtually everywhere, while the studios will be, as always, a state-of-the-art reference point for analysis and authoritative commentary by the talent dream team, made up of such exceptional champions as Ivan Ljubicic, Flavia Pennetta, Raffaella Reggi, Paolo Bertolucci, Laura Golarsa, Barbara Rossi, Stefano Pescosolido and Marco Crugnola.

There will be no lack of the editorial touch of the great Original Productions of Sky Sport: to celebrate the first year as world number one, comes the new episode of the series of special interviews made with Sinner: from tomorrow, at 22.30 on Sky Sport Uno and streaming on NOW – also available on demand – Jannik, beyond tennis – Chapter 3, the face-to-face dialogue between the champion and Sky Sport director Federico Ferri, made last September 18 in Milan, at the Gioia 22 skyscraper, in the spaces of Intesa San Paolo, which for the third consecutive year è partner of this production. 

A record-breaking season is coming to an end for tennis on Sky, among the pillars of the House of Sports offer: during 2024, tennis in fact catalyzed 22% of Sky Sport’s total ratings, putting it up 121% over the previous year. As many as 6 matches this year made it into the top 10 all-time ratings. These include the Miami Masters 1000 final between Jannik Sinner and Grigor Dimitrov, with 1 million 511 thousand average viewers, and the US Open final between Jannik Sinner and Taylor Fritz, with 1 million 329 thousand average viewers, respectively the second and third most watched tennis events ever on Sky. 

Also of note was the Shanghai Masters 1000 final between Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic, the second best tennis match ever on Sky by TV share (11%), after the Wimbledon 2021 Djokovic-Berrettini final. In contrast, the best women’s match ever è was the Wimbledon final between Barbora Krejcikova and Jasmine Paolini, which got 916 thousand viewers with 9.7 percent TV share and nearly 1.7 million unique contacts.

Also for this grand finale of the season, Sky Sports will field a super team to report on all the challenges with the usual competence, thoroughness and enthusiasm. For each day of matches, on Sky Sport Tennis and Sky Sport 24 continue the pre-match and post-match studies, in-depth reports, analyses – also thanks to the usual contribution of Sky Sport Tech technology, the virtual magnifying glass that allows you to analyze the decisive blows and the most beautiful plays – with exclusive guests and interviews. 

For the Nitto ATP Finals and Davis Cup Finals, the Sky Tennis Show studios will be inside the sports palaces of Turin and Malaga, respectively, and will be hosted by Eleonora Cottarelli and Angelo Mangiante. Under the guidance of Other Sports editor-in-chief Marco Caineri, the talents Paolo Bertolucci, Ivan Ljubicic, Raffaella Reggi, Laura Golarsa, Stefano Pescosolido, and Barbara Rossi will take turns in the’analysis, in addition to Flavia Pennetta’s presence at the Nitto ATP Finals. In recounting the challenges, here are the voices of Elena Pero, Luca Boschetto, Federico Ferrero and the entire team of commentators. On the sidelines, correspondents Stefano Meloccaro, Dalila Setti and Paolo Aghemo will reveal secrets and details of the champions before and after their matches, starting with the training sessions that will be followed live. There will be no shortage of The Insider’s original look, with interviews and exclusive never-before-seen images.
