MotoGP, Thailand: Marc Marquez soars in pre-qualifying

È by Marc Marquez the best time in the second free practice session, which also serves as pre-qualifying, of the MotoGP class Grand Prix of Thailand at the Buriram circuit.

The Ducati Gresini Spaniard lapped in 1’29”165 and was ahead of his Ducati Pramac compatriot and world leader, Jorge Martin, who was 110 thousandths behind.

Third and fourth respectively at 162 and 195 thousandths with the factory Ducatis Enea Bastianini and world champion Francesco Bagnaia.

Fifth is Spaniard Maverick Vinales, sixth is Franco Morbidelli, Martin’s teammate, seventh and eighth are the other two Spaniards Pedro Acosta and Alex Marquez on TM and Ducati Gresini.

Closing out the top 10 of those who directly access tomorrow’s Q2 are Marco Bezzecchi on Ducati VR46 and rancese Johann Zarco on Honda Castrol, ninth and tenth respectively.
