Masters 1000 Paris-Bercy: Jannik Sinner on the side of Alexander Zverev
It's been drawn the main draw for the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000, starting Tuesday, Oct. 29. It did not go well for world number one Jannik Sinner, who è ended up in the upper part of the scoreboard on the side of Alexander Zverev.
The South Tyrolean, however, will already have a difficult match on his debut, as he will face the winner of the match between Ben Shelton and Felix Auger-Aliassime in the second round. In the third round there could be a derby with Matteo Arnadli, who will have to face Holger Rune in the first round. In the quarters, the Italian could face either Australia's Alex de Minaur or Taylor Fritz, while in the semifinals he should take on Alexander Zverev. Only in the finals, finally, could Sinner see off Carlos Alcaraz or Daniil Medvedev.
As for the other Azzurri drawn, Luciano Darderi will make his debut against Tallon Griekspoor of the Netherlands, Matteo Berrettini will face Australian Alexei Popyrin, Flavio Cobolli will face Richard Gasquet and Lorenzo Musetti will take on Jan-Lennard Struff.
