David Alonso again. The Colombian also won Thailand, taking his 12th win of the season (beating Valentino Rossi's record in the then 125 that stood since way back in 1997), his fifth of the season. Already certain of the title, the Colombian won the race in the final, showing his usual incredible coolness in the most delicate moments.

The race, in fact, è was a kind of Sprint Race. Because of the rain, the circuit, at the start, è was wet and with several patches of water. Hence the decision to reduce it to 12 laps, so ì to allow drivers to get familiar with the track.

Behind him è placed Luca Lunetta, author of a truly crazy race. Starting from tenth place on the grid, the SIC58 team driver finished with a fabulous second place. "After so many races where we were competitive but something was always missing. I am happy with this podium that I dedicate to my family and my mechanics", the blue rider races at the end of the race.

To be recorded, in the convulsive final, the contact, on the straight, between Collin Veijer and Taiyo Furusato. The latter è was thrown off his bike and, in fact, crossed the finish line falling. The Dutchman è finished third.
