Roberto Mancini received the Tapiro d'Oro tapir from Striscia La Notizia correspondent Valerio Staffelli for his exoneration as technical commissioner of Saudi Arabia just fourteen months after signing a contract with the Riyadh federation.

Mancini coached the Azzurri for five years, from 2018 to 2023, leading the Azzurri in 61 games, ranking third on the all-time list behind Enzo Bearzot and Vittorio Pozzo.
