Fiorentina, Raffaele Palladino does not look at the ranking

A victory worth third place in the standings along with Atalanta was the one won at the Ferraris by Palladino’s Fiorentina. A goal by Gosens and above all De Gea’s saves gave them their sixth consecutive victory between league and cups. But it è was not an easy match as the purple coach himself explained.

“È it was a difficult match – the words of the coach of the Tuscans – and we won a suffered and dirty victory. Indeed, I want to congratulate Genoa and its fans because today playing in this stadium was very complicated. Genoa played it with an open face and put us in difficulty. This success gave me great satisfaction, more than the victories with Lecce and Roma because this one makes us grow and gives us morale and awareness. A victory like this was missing".

With the three points won, the Viola snagged Atalanta in third place, but Palladino still doesn&#39t look at the standings. "I do not look at it rather I think immediately about Torino that we will find on Sunday. Instead, I look at the growth of this team that must maintain this humility and attitude. I can only say that before the game Martinez Quarta in the locker room made a speech that gave me chills . Now we just have to keep a low profile and this lightness that will bring usà satisfaction".

Not an easy match but one that brought some joys such as the debut of Rubino, class 2006 " who will have to bring pastries- joked Palladino-but that when I told him stand up he opened his eyes wide. Fiorentina has a great youth sector and there are many young people I follow. I think Italian soccer needs courage and a little more courage on our part is needed in this sense. Today, however, we are satisfied. We have to continue like this; those who play always give their best. It was not easy but inside the group is creating magic".
