Fabio Soli looks beyond the derby
Fabio Soli ready for Itas Trentino-Rana Verona
On the strength of the third place in the standings after six days, minus two from the leader Piacenza, Itas Trentino prepares for what will be the Derby dell'Adige number 48 in its history, hosting at the 'ilT quotidiano Arena' the Rana Verona, which in the Superleague standings occupies the fourth position with 12 points, three less than the reigning European champions.
Par Fabio Soli, coach of Itas, è a match certainly important, not only forò becauseé it is a derby: "I expect an intense and difficult match – he said – mainly for two reasons: the first becauseé we will be facing an opponent that has great qualityé of play and with facts is proving that it can stably occupy a place of high ranking; the second è becauseé precisely with this appointment we will begin a period that will see usé regularly play an official match every three days until the end of December".
" We want to start this cycle in the best possible way, knowing well, però that the Rana Verona that we will face è a very physical team, which with the fundamentals of batting and attack è can put anyone on the ropes. It will be an opportunity to try to further raise our level of attention, focus our energies to improve our game, with the aim of facing punctually the difficulties that the evening will propose to us," concluded Soli.
Itas Trentino has collected five successes in its first six league matches, without ever going to the tie-break: the victories came against Cisterna (3-1), Taranto (3-0), Powervolley Milano (3-1), Modena (3-1) and Grottazzolina (3-1), the only loss in the big match last Oct. 27 against Perugia (3-1 for the Umbrians).
