Atalanta-Udinese 2-1

Sunday of the 12th day of Serie A opened with Atalanta’s comeback victory over Udinese. At the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, the Nerazzurri remounted the Friulians, who had taken the lead at the end of the first half through Kamara. In the second half, Pasalic and an own goal by Tour’gave the three points to Dea.

Lots of intensity right from the start: on 5’ Retegui sends just high on the svliluppi of a corner; on 7’ Okoye overcomes himself on a cross-shot by Pasalic, a minute later Carnesecchi performs a double miracle first on Lovric’s shot and then on Davis. On 13’ Atalanta took the lead through Lookman but Var cancels for offside, five minutes later Payero hits the crossbar. On 26’ goal annulled to Udinese for a foul by Davis. In the final, the Friulians took the lead with a great left-footed shot by Kamara from outside the box.

In the resumption Bellanova replaces the injured Zappacosta and his entrance proves decisive. In 56’ Samardzic launches Bellanova on the right flank who puts in the center for Pasalic who signs the 1-1. Five minutes later the same script: Samardzic serves Bellanova on the right side who puts in the middle finding the unfortunate deflection of Touré that mocks Okoye. At 72’ and 74’ Lookman goes close to the tris, in the final the newly entered Zaniolo forced to ask for the change due to a pain in the groin.

With this victory, Atalanta momentarily moves up to second place in the standings, on 25 points, the same as leading Napoli, engaged at 8:45 p.m. at San Siro with Inter. Udinese, on the other hand, remains stuck at 16 points, in eighth place.
