ATP Finals, Medvedev fed up: "Can't wait for the season to end"

It was supposed to be on paper the most balanced match of the first four singles, but it did not turn out to be so. The match between Daniil Medvedev and Taylor Fritz è lasted just an hour and twenty, with the American good at taking advantage of his rival&#39s lapses and charged ahead of his next match: should Sinner win tonight, there will be a rematch of the US Open final on Tuesday.

"I don’t think forò I will watchò the match against De Minaur, I don’t watch much tennis", revealed Fritz. "Facing Jannik, but also Alcaraz and Djokovic, makes you learn so many things. I am happy to have again the’opportunity’to measure myself against him".

Very little, on the other hand, Medvedev has learned from his debut in Turin. "I can’t wait for the season to end", admitted the No. 4 in a press conference. "The ATP Finals have never been easy for me: the'only year I won them è was when the season è started with the US Open. I’ll see what I can do in the next matches, but if it doesn’t go well I’ll go away on vacation and be happy that way. ".

A problem that seems to be mental in nature for the Russian: “For a long time I have been fighting with something that is not up to me, I am tired of fighting", said Medvedev.
