Carlos Alcaraz&#8217s resounding comeback over Jannik Sinner probably would not have been possible without the evident support of the French crowd at the Philippe Chatrier, which clearly supported the Murcia tennis player in the decisive moments against the South Tyrolean. And the world number two himself admitted this after the Roland Garros final.

A cheering in some moments unrestrained, which had turned the nose up at many Italian fans, who had complained on social media. However, any kind of controversy was extinguished by Azzurro himself, who quickly dismissed the issue to Eurosport.

“He is a player that the public likes so much, there is no problem. Certainly the crowd’s cheering has an important impact in games, but sometimes it has helped me as well, so it’s okay” the Azure’s classy response.

Sinner’s return to the game is a good one.

Sinner will return to competition from Sept. 16 at the Halle ATP 500, to better prepare himself on the grass for Wimbledon: Operation Rematch has already begun.
