Among the 50 participants will be Matteo Manassero, Guido Migliozzi and Francesco Laporta. The latter, thanks to his 13th° place in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship with a score of 270 (64 69 69 68, -18), è moved from 60ª to 52ª position in the ranking of the order of merit.

Guido Migliozzi, 52° with 279 (68 71 69 71, -9), and Matteo Manassero, 59° with 281 (-7), were not brilliant. The Veneto players dropped from 14th to 19th and from sixth to 10th respectively in the order of merit.
