Gresini, Marc Marquez tries to salvage something
The words of Marc Marquez
Marc Marquez's last weekend as a Team Gresini rider begins uphill. In pre-qualifying for the Barcelona GP, in fact, the Spanish centaur did not è manage to go beyond eighth place, accumulating a delay of almost half a second from Pecco Bagnaia. The number 93, however, canò smile partially for having qualified for Q2, a result that in the first edition of the Gp of Montmelò not è managed to hit.
"Although the conditions have changed so much since May, mine remain complicated on this track. We lose so much in the second part of the track, but we have an'idea on how to work and where to intervene ahead of qualifying and the Sprint Race" began the Spanish centaur to the official channels of the Gresini team.
"Despite everything compared to May, we managed to hit direct access in Q2, so at least we will start better than a few months ago" added Marc Marquez.
To the team's official channels, è also spoke his brother Alex, who finished the pre-qualifying session in seventh place, also detaching the pass for Q2: "It's been a fun day. We tried various things between this week and this afternoon and the feeling is positive. It's obvious that compared to May, the track è changed a lot, but we are in a good moment and today we proved it. There's still a lot to work on and tomorrow we will be on track to continue to improve, without the pressure of having to hit the Q2".
