The words of Max Verstappen

The F1 season gets into full swing with the last triptych of races of the season. Speaking to the official F1 channels, Max Verstappen did not want to get out of line ahead of the Las Vegas GP, where the Dutchman could already graduate world champion for the fourth consecutive time.

"My focus è only to this weekend. Obviously there are still three races to go before the end of the season, we are approaching the end and we are well placed in the standings, but we are still missing points to reach the finish line. We have to focus solely on that and when we have done that we will be even closer to the goal, which is è winning the championship" began the Dutch driver.

"The news of Niels Wittich's departure didn&#39t change my day, sure, è a little bit'strange that it happens in the last three races. It doesn&#39t matter if you&#39re for or against certain things. It's still a little strange to have to deal with a different race director this season. If you wanted to change a race director, maybe you would do it after the season and you would have some time for him to get used to the situation. Also there would be pre-season testing to get better into the role. But let’s see how it goes: they have decided and we have to accept it" added Max Verstappen.

The Red Bull driver could graduate champion already in Nevada by winning the Grand Prix or avoiding losing more than two points to Lando Norris.
