The video of Mikaela Shiffrin’s bad fall

For Mikaela Shiffron, Saturday was supposed to be the day of celebration for 100 World Cup victories, and instead it è turned into a day of apprehension, althoughé the news coming from the United States is heartening: after the bad fall on the Superstar slope in Killington, the American champion, as explained by the Stars and Stripes Ski and Snowboard Federation, reportedly joked, asking "what were the split times".

There remains the big scare over the accident, which made all fans and insiders fearful and forced the rescue team to intervene with the toboggan, to transport Shiffrin to the finish line without putting her at further risk. The athlete è underwent an initial ultrasound that would rule out heavy consequences.

"Sorry to have scared you – are the first words, spoken on Instagram, by Shiffrin herself – I have an abrasion in my side, the outcome of the ultrasound gives hope. Thanks to those who promptly rescued me".
