Alpine-Esteban Ocon: official the early farewell

Esteban Ocon's adventure with Alpine è officially come to an end. Through a note issued on its official profiles, in fact, the transalpine team has announced the early farewell of the French driver, who has already signed a multi-year contract with Haas starting next season. Ahead of the last GP in Abu Dhabi, it will be Jack Doohan who will replace the 28-year-old from Evreux.

"Doohan è has already been announced as the official driver for the 2025 season alongside Pierre Gasly and will race in Abu Dhabi with the number 61 and that is the number registered for the team’s reserve driver. Jack will also take part in the team’s end-of-season tests at the Yas Marina circuit.

Alpine would like to thank Esteban for his time with the team. He will always remain part of the history of the team, which achieved its first Formula 1 victory with him (in Budapest in 2021). We wish him the best for the future" this is the note issued by the French team.

Heralding the early farewell to Alpine, in addition, was Ocon himself at the microphones of the various media after his retirement on the first lap in the Qatar GP: "I thank the team for their hard work in this race and throughout the year. When the situation was not good, engineers and mechanics worked even more closely and this è the most important thing. Now we need to look ahead and start preparing for the future".
