Virtus knocked out in overtime, Banchi: "If something goes wrong we’ll jump alreadyù"

Yet another defeat in the Euroleague for Virtus Bologna, bent at home by Alba Berlin after overtime 88-90: for the Black Vu, last in the standings, è the eleventh defeat out of 13 games. 

After the game Luca Banchi tried to analyze yet another defeat in Europe: "We have shown that we can stay at the level of teams that today are among the top positions in the standings, but tonight we entered the court shrouded in an aura of negativity;. I take responsibility for that and for how the team approached the game. We have to dig within ourselves to find the strength to restart from the simple things".

"Today, rotating to 12 players, everyone had a chance to turn the game around, but we have to shake off this negativity", regain the taste for playing. As soon as something goes wrong instead of turning around we throw ourselves even more; already; getting sucked in like in a vortex".

"I think this team has all the resources to get out of this situation. Certainly the many games lost in the final have undermined our certainty and confidence. We must regain the pleasure of playing".
