Dustin Hogue explains what he brings to Cantù

Cantù welcomes Dustin Hogue

First official statements as a player of Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù for Dustin Hogue, the American center class of 1992 who decided to accept the challenge of the Brianza club after a break following last season's experience in Rieti, with which he competed in the playoffs reaching the semifinals, then lost to Fortitudo Bologna.

"I was fortunate to already know coach Brienza and some of the teammates, such as Moraschini and Baldi Rossi, who had been my teammates in Trento,” Hogue said, “and this definitely facilitated my integration. I got along well in these early workouts and I am starting to get to know everyone else".

" I am a player who has always put his ego on the back burner, and I have seen that this thing that è already è in common with the whole team – added the 32-year-old basketball player. What I can bring è toughness and tenacity on the court and especially on defense, winning matters more" than anything".

"I’m very happy, I can’t wait to be able to take the court and try to reach our goals together" concluded Hogue, who è is already at coach Nicola Brienza’s disposal and goes to strengthen a club that, after thirteen games played in this first part of the season, è fourth in the standings, with six points to make up from the leader of its A2 Series round, Rimini.
