Biathlon, summoned

Six women and as many men are the summoned for the second stage of the Biathlon World Cup scheduled in Hochfilzen (Aut) from Friday, December 13 to Sunday, December 15 with sprint, pursuit and relay events.

Technical director Klaus Hoellrigl will line up Dorothea Wierer, Samuela Comola, Michela Carrara, Hannah Auchentaller, Martina Trabucchi, Beatrice Trabucchi among the women and Tommaso Giacomel, Didier Bionaz, Patrick Braunhofer, Daniele Cappellari, Elia Zeni and Lukas Hofer among the men.

After the training carried out in recent days in Obertilliach, Lisa Vittozzi has decided in agreement with the technical staff to continue in the coming weeks the individual preparation, with the goal of presenting herself on the circuit at the top of the physical condition for the stage in Oberhof, scheduled from January 9 to 12.

The titleholder will skip the Hochfilzen event and the next one in Annecy-Le Grand Bornand on Dec. 19-22.
