NBA: Boston asphalt Detroit, little room for Fontecchio
The green-and-whites rise to 20 wins and only five losses
Only three NBA contests played on the night. Boston’s show of strength, sweeping Detroit with a dry 123-99. Sumptuous performance by Pritchard, who finished with 27 points and 10 assists (seven triples scored). In the Pistons’ house, little room for Fontecchio. The Azure finished with six points in 17 minutes of use. The green-and-whites climb to 20 wins and only five losses.
Nice success also for Miami, which wins over Toronto (114-104 the final). For the Heat it is the fourth consecutive victory. A 33-10 partial that knocked out Toronto was decisive. Good performances by Adebayo (21 points and 16 rebounds) and Herro (23 total points). The Raptors collect their fourth loss in a row.
Another heavy win for Sacramento, which sprinted to victory over New Orleans (111-109). Despite a monster performance by McCollum (36 points), the Pelicans squandered, twice, a chance to go to overtime or win the game. The Kings’ record now è in perfect parity (13-13).
At home Kings (third consecutive win) shines Sabonis who ends the match with 32 points in 34 minutes of play (11/15 from the field and 9/9 from the lunette). In addition to great offensive efficiency, the Kings'All Star adds an impressive 20 total rebounds. This is the first 30+20 season in the entire NBA.
