After enjoying a well-deserved vacation, at the end of a season that saw her rise to 11th place in the WTA world rankings, Anna Kalinskaya has begun her own journey that will lead her into the new season, with the ambition to break into the Top 10 perhaps already from the Australian tournaments at the beginning of the year.
On her Instagram profile, Kalinskaya è showed herself at work with her athletic trainer, Santi Dimperio, sharing a video made by the latter. "Big steps, short steps" (big steps, small steps) the comment of the Argentine trainer, on the images of the Moscow athlete intent on practicing lateral movements on the field.
Thus begins a new chapter for Anna Kalinskaya, who in the coming season is aiming hard not only to enter the top ten in the world, but also to win a major circuit trophy that in 2024 è eluded her twice in the finals, in Dubai against Jasmine Paolini and in Berlin at the expense of Jessica Pegula.
Kalinskaya turned 26 last Dec. 2: In recent months there has been a lot of talk about her not only for the sporting aspect, but also for her romance with Jannik Sinner, a relationship in which the two have preferred, from the very first moment, to keep discreet in front of the media and on social media, while often giving more than a few hints to their many fans.
