Jasmine Paolini closes the season with another award

New recognition for Jasmine Paolini

The year 2024 confirms itself as an extraordinary year for Jasmine Paolini, an authentic protagonist of Italian sports and the WTA circuit. The Tuscan tennis player concluded an incredible season, finishing at No. 4 in the world ranking thanks to two Slam finals and a 1000 title in singles, in addition to the successes in doubles achieved together with Sara Errani both in major circuit tournaments and with the Italian national team.

The Italian pair shined by winning Olympic gold on clay at Roland Garros at the Paris Games, also winning at Foro Italico and in the prestigious WTA 1000 in Beijing. Paolini crowned her perfect year by leading Italy to victory in the Billie Jean King Cup, along with teammates like Errani and Lucia Bronzetti, in the Malaga Finals.

Thanks to her performance, Paolini received the prestigious Billie Jean King Cup Heart Award, an award established by the ITF in 2009 for female players who distinguish themselves in the jersey of their national team. Jasmine è the fourth Italian to receive this award, following in the footsteps of Francesca Schiavone (2010), Sara Errani (2013) and Flavia Pennetta (2015).

For the Tuscan tennis player, 2024 ends under the sign of celebrations, asé in recent days the Italian number one crowned her dream of becoming one of the most successful personalities in Italy, ranking third among the most searched terms on Google by Italians.
