Cagliari holds out for more than 50′, then Inter kicks down the hat trick

Inter closes in the best way the 2024 (calendar year that will go down in the history of the Nerazzurri club for the conquest of the second star) beating Cagliari 3-0 at the Unipol Domus, a result that does not do justice to the vigorous defensive performance of the Rossoblù, able to resist for almost an hour, but confirms the cynicism of the Nerazzurri, good at materializing every possible goal action.

Very little to report as far as the first half of the game is concerned: the only real action from goal happens on 29'on the head of Lautaro Martinez, who forò from a good position fails to score. The Nerazzurri closed the score in the 78th minute: Wieteska’s hands in the box, Doveri pointed to the penalty spot and Calhanoglu converted to make it 3-0. Only the last changes were made in the final: Taremi, Asllani and Frattesi in place of Thuram, Mkhitaryan and Calhanoglu for Inter, Felici for Piccoli in Cagliari.
