Jannik Sinner, fans enraged by Nick Kyrgios’ new statements

Nick Kyrgios enrages Jannik Sinner fans again
From Australia, on the eve of the Brisbane ATP tournament, Nick Kyrgios has once again found a way to make people talk about him, once again infuriating Jannik Sinner supporters, against whom the returning Canberra-born tennis player has once again lashed out, including in his speech former WTA No. 1 (now No. 2) Iga Swiatek.
As reported by the 'BBC', Kyrgios called "disgusting for tennis" the cases involving, in recent months, precisely Sinner and Swiatek, thus continuing his very personal crusade especially against the South Tyrolean, who for his part has always preferred the line of silence, prioritizing the sporting aspect.
Less tender, with the Greek-born athlete, are the fans of Sinner himself, who on social media complain about the tendency, precisely on Kyrgios’ part, to bring up the Sinner topic on every public occasion, pushing tennis into the background with the intention of creating a rivalry that, at least so far, the court has never known.
One opportunity for the two to cross paths è represented by the Australian Open, which will see them both at the starting ribbons. Kyrgios has already promised battle to Sinner in the event of a head-to-head clash, relying on the home fans'help to try to beat the winner of the 2023 edition of the first slam of the season on the court.
