Federico Pellegrino already looks ahead to Milan-Cortina 2026

Thanks to his seventh place in the Final Climb to the Alpe Cermis, Federico Pellegrino ended the Tour de Ski in fourth place in the overall standings, at the end of seven high-level stages with the’only bad day experienced in the 20km individual race in Dobbiaco.

"Also today I tried to use my head well as well as on the other occasions that I faced this race soì particular" stressed the champion from Valle d’Aosta, on the day after the podium in the Val di Fiemme Skiathlon.

"I am very proud of my fourth place and how I have handled this period, also because of the’stumble in the skating race in Toblach, after which someone would have perhaps thrown in the towel – added the blue -. Instead I held on and collected another podium and this important fourth place".

"The most positive thing è that I can be performing despite the passage of time: when there are good performances and good results, mentally è easier to think about the future. There continues to be confidence in my means, in my legs, in my head, and I know that I can set the next 14 months to keep myself competitive and enjoy the’last dance in February 2026" concluded Pellegrino.
