Cracking start to the season for Hideki Matsuyama. The Japanese golf champion won The Sentry, in Kapalua, Hawaii, finishing with a stratospheric -35 (257 total strokes). Hideki Matsuyama’s final day è closed with a -8 that allowed him to keep behind Collin Morikawa, second three strokes behind but starring, nonetheless, in a great tournament.
Thanks to this incredible feat (bettered Cameron Smith’s record of -34 in 2022), Hideki Matsuyama è took home the $3.6 million prize, celebrating at his best what è his 11th victory on the PGA Tour circuit.
