Inter-Milan 2-3

Crazy comeback triumph for Milan in the final of the Italian Super Cup: in Saudi Arabia, Inter went ahead 2-0, seemed now sure to impose itself for the fourth consecutive time but the Rossoneri, thanks to the entry of Leao, overturned everything and with a goal by Abraham in full recovery won 3-2.

First half decidedly blocked, with the Rossoneri more proactive but not very incisive under goal. When everything seems all set for halftime, a defensive sleep by Milan on a throw-in allows Lautaro to unlock the result.

In the second half, Taremi, on his first goal on action in the Nerazzurri, signed the double that seemed worth a'mortgage on the Nerazzurri triumph but Inzaghi had not reckoned with Leao, who earned a free kick that Theo Hernandez turned into the 1-2. The same French outfielder then serves Pulisic the assist for the equalizer ten minutes from the end.

On 93'when by then many were thinking of penalty kicks, another sprinting move by Milan signed by Leao was finished off in the net by Abraham, who thus gave newly appointed coach Sergio Conceiçao the 50th trophy in the club’s history.
