According to English sources, Pep Guardiola is reportedly working on a double snub against Bayern Munich. The Catalan coach would like to convince Leroy Sané and Joshua Kimmich to move to Manchester.

Both champions are expiring contracts: the striker does not seem to fit into Vincent Kompany’s future plans, while the midfielder is hesitant about continuing at Bayern and is looking around. The Bavarian club hopes he will decide to renew but talks have been stalled for weeks.

For Leroy Sané it would be a great return: he wore the Citizens’ jersey from 2016 to 2020, before moving to Bayern Munich itself. 

With the English club the striker collected 39 goals and 43 assists in 135 appearances. 7 titles won with City: 2 Premier League, 2 English League Cups, 2 English Super Cups and 1 FA Cup.
