New life for Max Biaggi, from motorcycles to snow
Max Biaggi, new life
New life for Max Biaggi, who directly from his Facebook profile updated his followers and others on a turn away from the tracks that have given him so much satisfaction in the world of two-wheel racing: "Hi guys, how are you? First of all I want to wish you a happy 2025. I hope you can live peacefully and fulfill your wishes, all of them, but really all of them! This past year I have been a bit’absent! I have devoted much of my time to the achievement of a goal, which I have long wished to achieve. In fact, on December 6, with the didactic classroom exam, I successfully completed my path to become an Assistant Ski Instructor. Now I can proudly say: mission accomplished"
"Gosh it’s weird, so weird and I’m really happy! In fact, after I stopped racing in 2012, I have always tried to give myself goals, to be able to live this life with the’intensityà with which it deserves to be lived. È with this idea, that è born the desire to try to do something important with Supermotard and, with the victory of the SicDay in 2014, I can say that I have achieved a good result. Then in 2015, after three years of stop and at the age of 44, I got back into the game in WSBK, with my Aprilia RSV4, getting on the podium in Sepang.
"After a few years I accepted a new challenge: the electric motorcycle! Riding the’electric Voxan I achieved 21 world records and reached the’impressive top speed of 470 km/h. Three years lived very intensely and especially very fast! Then, the desire for a new challenge definitely took me away from my comfort zone.
"No longer two wheels, but two skis. Many dynamic similarities, but completely different sensations. No longer; Max Biaggi, but one of many, driven by unbridled passion. And soì I found myself in a’classroom or on the ski slopes, among a sea of young boys! Età average age 20!!! I was definitely an outlier. But only for the’ageà! I put myself out there, as one of them, one of many, never backing down. But how è was it good? I cannot describe those moments in all their beauty! Comparing myself with them, with their approach to life, to sports, to the world of work, since for each of them, those exams represented the step of’entry to the world of work, è was incredibly constructive, as well as exciting".
"Some days were difficult even for me, who has been used to experiencing the sport in a very intense way, but one step at a time, surrounded by smiles, beautiful eyes full of life, time è flew by and I found myself at the end of an intense and rewarding journey. È it was a valuable experience, one that I will carry inside my heart forever! Now as an Assistant Ski Instructor I am enrolled in the Selva di Val Gardena Ski School. In my first lesson I would proudly like to have Inès and Leòn, my children, as my students. Kids I wanted to share with you the achievement of this milestone. Good things should always be celebrated and I am glad to be able to do it with you".
