Tottenham-Liverpool, the probable formations

Tottenham and Liverpool will face each other in the second semi-final first leg of the EFL Cup. Kickoff at 9 p.m. at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. On the one hand, Spurs will try to redeem the heavy knockout suffered in the league against the Reds (3-6 in the 17th day). The premier league leaders, for their part, will try to continue their dominant season in the cup as well.

Postecoglou should bet on the starters for this challenge. In attack, therefore, trust Solanke as center forward, with Maddison, Son and Kulusevski making up the battery of trequartists. In defense, in front of Forster, there will be Dragusin and Gray as center backs and Spence and Pedro Porro as full-backs. 

Slot, for his part, may make some changes to his typical 11. On offense there will be Nunez as a central reference, with Gakpo and Elliott on the outsides. In the median, Morton and Nyoni should flank Mac Allister, thus giving Gravenberch and Jones a rest.
