Elia Caprile, the agent explains why he chose Cagliari

After a first half of the season in which he collected a total of six appearances, four in the league and two in the Coppa Italia, between the posts of Napoli, Elia Caprile has decided to move to Cagliari, with the aim of asserting his qualities again, just as he did at Empoli in the 2023/2024 season. At the microphones of 'Radio Kiss Kiss', the goalkeeper's agent, Graziano Battistini, explained what convinced him about the proposal of the rossoblù club.
"It was a professional choice dictated by the need to try to play continuously – said Battistini, who is also remembered by insiders for his past in the field, just as a goalkeeper -, and so he decided to take this new path. His focusing desire è to play in Cagliari and try to contribute to Cagliari’s goals, he has Neapolitan papà and è been very well here, è left temporarily looking for a path that will make him grow even more ".
"The experience like Elia's to experience a locker room of the highest level è formative. Napoli makes you grow from any point of view,” added Caprile's agent. “Being part of such an environment fills you up, then è it is clear that the field is a bit missing and that is why we chose Cagliari. Certain situations I experienced them on my skin as a former goalkeeper and as a result you turn them into experience. We goalkeepers are a bit of a sect".
Born in 2001, Caprile è grew up in Chievo Verona and boasts one experience abroad, at Leeds United, in the 2020/2021 season. Since then he has defended the posts of Pro Patria, Bari, Empoli (with whom he made his Serie A debut) and Napoli. He has also been part of the Under 18 and Under 21 national teams, as part of the latter he experienced the European Championships in 2023.
