Stefano Domenicali crystal clear on the future of the Imola Gp

During an interview given to the microphones of "Autosprint", F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, among the various topics discussed, wanted to clarify the future of the Imola Gp, whose agreement with the circus will expire at the end of 2025.

"Imola has the willà to continue and carry forward an ambitious project. L'Enzo and Dino Ferrari è an important circuit that could fit into the logic of rotations, but not with Monza. Certainly, if Brianza did not respect the agreements made, there would already be a strong candidacy ready with Imola. Never say never. Before the start of next season we will have the definition of the position of the future" began the CEO of F1.

"The contract with Monza è was renewed with major commitments in terms of infrastructure modernization works. What è was done at Monza last year è only a necessary first step. The concept that being fortunate enough to be considered a historic place does not mean it has to stay old. Historic è a value only if it is projected into the future" added the former Ferrari team principal.

"The Brianza facility needs to modernize and I must say that the ACI president, Angelo Sticchi Damiani, has put the do in making certain commitments and without his commitment it would have been difficult to close certain deals. It's clear that there's been significant input at the government level from the region on the economic side. Now we have to understand what will happen with the Imola GP" concluded Stefano Domenicali.
